Tamra Sheffman is a commercial and instrument rated private pilot with over 1880 hours, and is former Chapter Chairperson of the Florida Goldcoast 99s, the international women's pilot association.
Tamra lives in Miami Beach with her husband Ron Mayer with whom she enjoys traveling, dancing and skiing. As a co-owner of a Cessna 182 she frequently takes a bird’s eye view of Miami Beach and other Florida sights. Tamra loves to fly for fun, food, and proficiency.
Tamra has participated in 5 air races and says that the Air Race Classic is an awesome cross country flying adventure!
Tamra Sheffman is owner/broker of Royal Palm Realty in Miami Beach. A leader in Miami Beach’s real estate sector since 1978, she has been an investor in local commercial and residential properties, and has owned and operated various Art Deco and MiMo buildings in Miami Beach.
Tamra is a director of the Florida Association of REALTORS, as well as director and past president of the Miami Beach Association of REALTORS and serves on the Advisory Board of the Jewish Museum of Florida where the Air Race Classic was presented as part of the Florida Jews in Sports Exhibit.

BECKY RITTER
Becky Ritter is a private pilot with a multi-engine and instrument rating with about 700 hours. Flying has been extremely important to her. She met her husband, Terry due to flying, participated in an aviation business with him, and met some of the best friends a person could ever have, all due to flying. Becky enjoys the tremendous freedom that flying in a general aviation airplane gives. Her pilot/mechanic husband has been a terrific supporter of her desire to fly, and encourages her to soar to new heights. This will be her second air race and she is looking forward to it with excitement!
